Chapel St, Windsor

PRAGUE

This used to be a funeral parlour.
Now it's a bar.
We kept the vibe.

As Seen In

The story

Before this was a bar, it was something else.

From 1923 to 1987, this building was H. Morrison & Sons — Chapel St's longest-running funeral home. The embalming room is now the cocktail station. The viewing chapel is where the footy goes on.

Some regulars say the taps come on by themselves. Kitchen staff hear footsteps after close. The Ectoplasm cocktail was named after something the bar manager swears he saw in the cold room at 2am. We don't talk about it.
